Fastrack to Yachtmaster™

The Fastrack to Yachtmaster™ programme takes you from the basics of Day Skipper theory right through to the advanced navigation and passage planning of RYA Yachtmaster™ Offshore Theory — all in one package. This bundle also includes the SRC/VHF Marine Radio course.

All three courses are accessed as individual courses, and you receive separate certificates for each on passing the exams.

RYA Day Skipper Theory Online

40 hours of learning covering coastal navigation fundamentals, chartwork, tides, meteorology, collision regulations and passage planning.

RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster™ Theory Online

50-60 hours of advanced learning covering offshore navigation, weather routing, IRPCS in depth, and professional seamanship.

RYA SRC/VHF Marine Radio

6-8 hours covering VHF/DSC radio operation, distress procedures, and radio regulations. Access to RYA Interactive site included.

After the Course

You'll hold all three theory certificates needed to pursue your practical Yachtmaster™ qualification. This provides the complete theory foundation for coastal and offshore sailing, plus the legal qualification to operate marine VHF radio.
