Booking process
On receipt of your enquiry, we will contact you to discuss your specific requirements. We will then send you a confirmation letter or email, clearly setting out the details of the course or activity, the dates, and the cost. You should then countersign and return the confirmation to us.
Payment
Each booking must be accompanied by a deposit of 25% of the total activity cost. Payment of the balance must be made 28 days prior to the start of the course, or immediately if you are booking less than 28 days in advance. Bookings are only considered firm on receipt of the deposit. Payment may be made by Bank Transfer or Credit/Debit Card. Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 5 working days.
Cancellation by client
You may cancel your booking at any time. However, if you do this more than 28 days before the activity, your deposit will be forfeited. We will retain the total fee if you or any member of your party cancels less than 28 days before the activity start date.
Cancellation by Urban Truant
If Urban Truant cancels the event for any reason, and we are unable to accommodate you on another date, our liability will be limited to the return of any monies already paid.
Alterations
Should you wish to alter the date or type of activity/course of your original booking we will make every effort to reschedule and you will be subject to a rescheduling charge of 15% of the total activity cost. You will also be liable for any activity specific costs which we are not able to recover, for example but not limited to, function room, restaurant hire, accommodation.
Insurance
Urban Truant carries full Public Liability insurance for the activities in which we engage. However, we advise that you take out adequate personal insurance.
Force Majeure
Urban Truant reserves the right to cancel/curtail your activity due to circumstances amounting to Force Majeure – these include, but are not limited to, war, riots, government action, terrorism, fire, weather conditions, strike action and all similar events outside Urban Truant’s control. Where such circumstances occur Urban Truant will not be liable to pay you refunds or compensation.
Customer Confidentiality
All customer’s personal details will be treated in the strictest confidence and under no circumstances will any details be passed onto a third party without your prior consent.
