Price - £300.00 Per Day

Own boat tuition is ideal for anyone who would like to learn more about their new boat, or consolidate knowledge of a boat they’ve owned for a while. Training will be customised to suit your boat's capabilities, your skill level and that of your crew.

Having one of Urban Truant’s friendly and knowledgeable skippers on board is a reassuring ‘safety net’ whilst you practice berthing, anchoring, operating your boat at high speed, and more. Even just having someone on hand to help you go through the electronics or get answers to those niggly questions you have will improve your knowledge and give you the confidence to enjoy using your boat with friends and family.

No two sessions are the same. At Urban Truant we are responsive to your objectives and the itinerary will be shaped (and re-shaped) entirely to what you want to achieve. It can be used to train for RYA qualifications at any level if required. You can even take Yachtmaster exams on your own vesasel if it meets the RYA's specifications.

Pre-Course Experience	No experience required.
Assumed Knowledge	None
Student Instructor Ratio	3:1. Urban Truant is also pleased to offer lower ratios on request for those who would like more time with their instructor.
Duration	This is flexible so that it meets your needs.
Course Content	This is shaped to meet your needs.
Ability after Course	Tell us what you would like to learn and we will shape the itinerary accordingly.

What’s Included

An Urban Truant skipper will be on board your boat and at your disposal for the duration of your session.
